 We want to help you.

  • Divorce can be overwhelming and the issues in front of you are rarely black and white. Elevated emotions can also create confusion and keep you from making tough decisions to protect the things you value most. We’re here to help.

Julie and Ethan seek first to understand your goals and priorities. We uses this understanding to advocate for you and offer the clarity and guidance you need to achieve the best outcome for your family. Our team will listen to your concerns and provide straightforward advice.

After your divorce is complete, your circumstances may change over time. Turn to us to help you address needed modifications to your divorce decree, child support and parenting time orders, or enforcement of existing orders.

  • Relationships matter, especially with our children. Child custody and parenting time arrangements focus on the best interests of each child while protecting your rights as a parent. It can be challenging, at times, to find resolution.

Family Law involves seeking to understand family dynamics and support future relationships. Julie and Ethan take the time to learn about your relationships and what you want them to look like now and in the future. This allows them to use her experience and creativity to guide you toward a positive resolution.

We know you’ll have questions. We work to meet your needs and educate you about the legal issues and statutes affecting your parenting time, custody issues, and conflict resolution.

We work to resolve issues involving establishing legal and physical custody and parenting time.

  • Adoption is the process of legally formalizing your relationship with a child. The adoption process is guided by laws and regulations from start to finish. There are state and federal laws that apply for adoptive families and biological parents. This means not only conducting the adoption in the proper way, but also filling the appropriate paperwork and filing it with the right department at the right time. Julie and Ethan can help navigate you through this process.

  • The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services is an administrative agency of the state government that is empowered to bring legal action against parents if it believes the parents have abused, neglected, or not care for their children. Julie and Ethan regularly represent parents and children in these matters. In these cases, Julie also works as a Friend of Court, which is an attorney appointed by the family court to investigate the issues in the case.
